Friday Florals: Impromptu Shoot

On Monday after a finishing up a styled shoot for NZ Bride and Groom Magazine, we still had these flowers left over and looking vibrant so we decided to do a bit of an impromptu styled shoot of a table set up to showcase these gorgeous blooms.
The central table arrangement was crafted with King Protea - white and pink, Paeonies (alternate spelling peony) in pink, Ruscus in red, dried Lavender and Sea Holly which is part of the Thistle family but a little more on the purple side. The amazing purple balls you see lying on a bed of evergreen are Allium and as well as looking so novel with their bright purple blossoms and spherical form, are actually part of the onion family (often referred to as 'flowering onion') and are entirely edible, best used chopped up into salads and such with a flavour like that of spring onion.
The favour boxes you see on the table in the glass box are custom made by Harlow Garland's bespoke department, Bespoke by HG which is coming soon!
