Chignons

There is something timeless about a beautiful chignon at the nape of your
neck. Chignons can be styled chic or more relaxed so are a great all round
choice for many different brides with different styles.

Braids

Braids are the perfect option for a more bohemian bride or wedding. Styled up or down, braids can add texture and interest to your hairstyle. Pair them with a flower crown for the ultimate bohemian bridal look.

Waves and Curls

Waves and curls can be styled fun and flirty or more elegant and structured. The trick with waves and curls is longevity, as they need to withstand the whole day – don’t be afraid to add extra product and touch it up throughout the day with hair spray.

Twisted Updo

You can’t go wrong with a twisted updo, they are classic, tasteful and
perfect if you don’t want to worry about your hair being in your face all
day. They also gives you the perfect chance to channel your inner Audrey Hepburn!

Headpieces

Adding a headpiece to your bridal hairstyle is the perfect way to let your
creativity and personal style shine. Headbands with jewels or pearls touches are a gorgeous delicate option. Or, if your wedding is outdoors, opt for an elegant flower crown. Click here for our favourites and tips on flower crowns!

Hair Care

On the lead up to your big day, it is important to take good care of your hair to ensure it is in good condition. The month prior, do weekly hair treatments as well as using professional shampoo and conditioner. This helps with giving your hair shine and body without stripping it of its natural oils. If you are wanting to dye your hair before your wedding day, we recommend doing it one or two weeks prior. This ensures the colour has time to settle and also give you time to adjust the colour, should you need to. We also recommend getting a trim prior to your big day. This will add to making your hair look polished and perfect when styled.

Whichever hairstyle you decide on for your wedding day, ensure it is one that you feel confident in. Remember to do a trial prior to your wedding day to see what styles you like best on yourself and to help everything run more smoothly.

Don’t be afraid to ask your stylist to adjust and alter anything that you are not completely happy with. You want to be happy with your hair for the years to come when you look back on your photographs!
