About Us

Harlow Garland garnered its name from two of old Hollywood's most revered icons, Jean Harlow and Judy Garland and seeks to emulate that same inherent sophistication and grace for your wedding day. We offer cohesive design concepts with the grace and beauty of a bygone era for inspiring and memorable events. Our clients are discerning and come to us seeking the signature style and meticulous eye for detail that Harlow Garland has cultivated over our 17 years in the industry. We work with only the best vendors so that every event is fresh and unique, every detail - considered.

Our Role

Whether you need day-of-coordination, full-service planning, complete event design or something in between, our services are second to none. It’s our job to create the overall vision and feel of the event, or if you’ve provided us your vision, to make that a reality. We listen to your thoughts and ideas and determine the overall aesthetic down to meticulous detail and source suitable vendors to implement the vision. We plan and style events ourselves in the role of wedding planner, but also often work alongside other planners in the role of event designer to manage all facets of the events, bringing all vendors together in one seamless design team. If you're tasking us with the complete design, we'll orchestrate the creative vision including design, selection (or suggestion) and management of all vendors, negotiation of contracts, budget management, overall direction of the process as well as the creation of timelines, layouts and guest management.

Travel & Site Visits

For most events, it is necessary for us to visit the venue at least once if it isn’t one of our preferred venues or you’re planning an international wedding. During this trip, we visit local markets and speak to local vendors to determine the necessary logistics and learn about the location to further enrich the guests’ experience. We choose to source as much as we can for the wedding locally and choose only florals which are in season in your chosen location. The week of the event, we arrive at least three to five days prior to the event (depending on the level of set up required) to ensure we have time to adequately manage all vendors during the production process. Rhonnie will personally style all decorative elements ensuring cohesion with the design plan as well as directing the entire design team and all vendors to meticulous detail.
